5.25: Sing Dance Crawl

The name says it all: sing, dance and crawl around downtown to celebrate the holiday. Meet at The Local for a pre-party, then head to House of Blues at noon for Casual Encounters Karaoke featuring brave bar crawlers. Follow the crowd to Parq & Lair Nightclub at 2 p.m. for DJs, switch to country vibes with 4:30 p.m. live music at Moonshine Flats, and finish the night back at The Local to rest and snack. $7 drink specials available. 5.25: Pier Pressure Memorial Weekend Yacht Party

Those who want to start their nautical festivities early can hop on the Hornblower Inspiration Yacht for a Saturday afternoon adventure. This Pier Pressure Yacht Party offers three dance decks to get down with the DJ lineup, featuring headliners Donald Glaude and Scotty Boy. Then take a break from the action and take in impressive views of the coastline and Coronado Bridge. Bars are cash only. Tickets are $13-$20 online.

5.25: Hard Rock pool parties

Hard Rock Hotel hosts back-to-back rooftop pool events so the party never has to end. First, DJ Carnage will raise the volume at SUNBURN Pool Lounge while listeners enjoy interactive games, and refreshing food and drink, from noon to 7 p.m. Then stick around as the sun goes down for the Night Swim Pool Party at 9 p.m. featuring DJs Breson, Gustavo Cristobal, Mark Cena, Oren and T-Spoon until 2 a.m. Ticket prices for SUNBURN and Night Swim vary and are available online.

5.25: Dip Day Club at Sycuan

UPDATE: Due to the rain forecast, Dip Day Club’s show featuring DJ Snoopadelic, which was originally scheduled for Sunday has been canceled. Existing ticket holders can present their tickets at the Saturday show to see Sam Feldt and EDX, as well as receive entry to DJ Snoopadelic’s rescheduled performance on July 20. Dress up in red, white and blue to get your brew on at Red White and Brew Memorial Day Pub Crawl in Gaslamp for this special Sunday Funday! After grabbing the tickets, arrive at check-in venue by 2 p.m. Then a personal guide will take patriotic partiers and their crew from venue to venue. Though the participating location lineup is still under wraps, all attendees will meet at Taste & Thirst to start the action. Tickets are $20 online.

Spend Memorial Day at The Layfette Hotel, Swim Club and Bungalows for their annual Sip & Swim. High energy dance band Chugboat will score the holiday as swimmers sip a complimentary signature drink and lounge in The Weissmuller Pool.
