In Del Mar, a party for pugs

It’s a party for the pups with the wrinkly faces and curled tails — pugs! Pug Rescue San Diego County presents “Pugchella 2019,” its annual pug party with a Coachella theme this year. Hundreds of pugs and their owners will head to the Del Mar Fairgrounds in their best music festival attire for a day at the pug boutique, getting pug nails trimmed and painted, costume contests, adoption information, questions answered by a veterinarian, cupcakes, a raffle, and more. (If you’re bringing a pet, download and fill out a waiver and bring it with you to the party.)
