Cars and community at monthly Hillcrest car show

With nearly 1,000 members, the Great Autos of Yesteryear car club has no shortage of cars to roll into Hillcrest for its monthly Hillcrest Classic Car Show. This weekend, check out no less than 20 shining, classic cars on display for an afternoon of fun with family and friends, sharing a love of cars with other club members and the rest of the community. After the cars, stay for the food at any of the restaurants or bars in the area.

Lisa Deaderick

Lisa Deaderick writes about social justice issues in her Sunday column for The San Diego Union-Tribune, as well as influential San Diegans for the One-on-One series that runs on Saturdays.
