Two very different tours are headed to San Diego in late February.

Former *NSYNC boy band member-turned-solo-star-and-2018-Super-Bowl-halftime-show-performer Justin Timberlake will perform at Valley View Casino Center on Feb. 21. The show is a last-minute addition to his “Man of the Woods” tour, which is scheduled to conclude Feb. 24 in Sacramento.

That same day, Feb. 24, is when comedian Aziz Ansari is set to bring his “Road to Nowhere” tour to Jacobs Music Center’s San Diego’s Copley Symphony Hall.

Ticket information for both shows appears below.

Timberlake’s tour is a continuation of the 2018 concert trek he mounted to promote his latest album, “Man of the Woods.”

Ansari’s tour is a continuation of his 2018 “Working Out New Material” comeback trek, which marked the Indian-American comedian’s return to the stage after he became embroiled in a #MeToo controversy in January. It came after a Web site, babe.net, published an account of a 23-year-old woman’s allegations that Ansari repeatedly pressured her into having sex on a date.

Ansari, who had previously been hailed for his vocal support of feminism, apologized the next day. To date, it appears that no charges have been filed against him.

Timberlake is no stranger to controversy, although in his case it took place during the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show, when he performed with Janet Jackson.

During their well-rehearsed duet on the song “Rock Your Body,” Timberlake pulled off Jackson’s nipple guard and briefly exposed her right breast. In the resulting uproar, Jackson became a pariah while Timberlake quickly righted his career.

Ticket prices for Timberlake’s Feb. 21 Valley View Casino Center concert range from $49.50 to $250 (plus service charges). They go on sale to the general public Monday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. via axs.com and by phone: (888) 929-7849.
