Diminutive bits a big draw for miniature enthusiasts this weekend

Miniature items in varied scales will be on exhibit, experienced artisans will demonstrate this centuries-old craft, and vendors will offer everything from bits to kits for creating your own mini masterpiece, at the San Diego Miniatures Show & Sale this weekend.

Mini makers, mini collectors and the curious will gather at a new location this weekend for the 44th annual Miniatures Show & Sale. Hosted by the group San Diego Miniature Crafters, the two-day “Nostalgia in Miniature” event at the Marriott Mission Valley features exhibits, sales, classes and workshops for connoisseurs of finely crafted miniatures. Mini Me? Thanks to Holodeck 3D Studios, attendees will have the opportunity to be scanned and printed as a mini doll.
