Earth Day Fair is Saturday in Rancho Bernardo

Rancho Bernardo’s second annual Earth Day Fair will be held this Saturday in Rancho Bernardo Community Park.

The free event will include fun and educational activities for all ages. It will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the park at 18448 W. Bernardo Drive.

There will be 27 exhibitor booths plus a kids’ craft center, earth-friendly raffle items, animals on exhibit and fruit donated by Barons Market and Jimbo’s...Naturally!

Attendees can learn about sustainable gardening, animal conservation, climate change, zero waste, rain barrels and smart tech.

The exhibitors will include Farm Fresh to You, Food for Life, the Rancho Bernardo Library, Kahoots, Surfrider, I Love A Clean San Diego, Master Gardener Association of San Diego County, Butterfly Farm, Barons Market, The Home Depot, City of San Diego Energy & Sustainability Program, Sempra Energy/SDG&E, California Wolf Center, County of San Diego Vector Control Program, Earth Made Snow Cones, Avian Rehabilitation Center, Intertwined Conservation Corporation, Last Chance for Animals, Jimbo’s...Naturally!, San Diego Bicycle Coalition, Pure Water Program, San Dieguito River Park, Environmental Center of San Diego, Friends of Blue Sky and Project Wildlife.

The Rancho Bernardo Community Council has organized the event.
