Teen Fright Night
For the past few years, there has been a wonderful partnership evening between The Haunted Trail in Balboa Park and the City of San Diego Park and Recreation Department. The event consists of over 700 teens coming by Haunted Trail sponsored buses and cars from over 20 recreation centers from all over the City of San Diego to attend the dress rehearsal night of The Haunted Trail held in Balboa Park, Thursday, Sept. 29th at 8 p.m. The San Diego Park and Recreation teens and staff are frightened in a cool manner to experience the ghoulish affects of The Haunted Trail. Everyone in attendance leaves with a happy and frightful memory of this fun time at The Haunted Trail.
Featured on the Travel Channel’s America’s Scariest Haunts, The Haunted Trail and The Experiment Maze of Balboa Park change every year. In a recent article, Haunt World Magazine wrote about the Haunted Trail: “The outdoor setting makes it so unique and spectacular.”
This year, The Haunted Trail is Conjuring up Stranger Things so terrifying that you may get a Krampus as you scramble to escape the Game o’ Thrones.
Run the gauntlet with horror icons Freddy, Jason, Michael Meyers, The Ring Girl, The Exorcist Girl and Annabelle.
Also this year, watch your back while weaving your way through the immense thicket of giant sticky spider webs. Press through the crowd of Freddys inhabiting the ghoul bus, and prepare to be chased by chainsaw wielding voodoo masters.
The Haunted Trail experience begins with a horrifying maze of over 3,500 square feet of freak-infested terror called “The Experiment.” Find out what happens when Mother Nature takes her eye off the ball. The Haunted Trail and Experiment Maze are over a mile long. Do you have the guts? Will your Mommy let you go?
