Taste ‘n’ Tinis takes over Hillcrest on Dec. 10

Stroll down the streets of Hillcrest on a self-guided tour featuring seasonal food and drink samples, plus retail therapy, at the Taste ‘n’ Tinis event on Thursday, Dec. 10 from 4 to 9 p.m.

Attendees can delight in local foodie-favorites from top chefs and restaurants in the area who will be cooking up everything from seafood to Spanish cuisine to sweet pastries. Some of the participating restaurants include Napizza, Lemonade and Whole Foods. As you chow down on these decadent dishes, don’t forget to sip on a few tasty drinks. Each retail boutique along the way will be serving a festive, hand-crafted holiday martini to enjoy.

Before you get going, stop by one of the will-call locations to drop off your holiday gifts to be wrapped up. Master gift-wrappers will be on hand to help you take care of one the more tedious holiday to-dos, while you sip cocktails and unwind from the stress of the season.

Will-call stops will be located at Rite Aid, 535 Robinson Ave. and Gossip Grill, 1220 University Ave. Once you drop off your holiday gifts at either location, you will be ID’d, given your wristband and walking guide for the event. The first 300 ticket purchasers will receive a collectable 2015 martini glass.
