San Diego chef goes head-to-head with Bobby Flay

Chef Kevin Templeton of barleymash is scheduled to take on Bobby Flay in a culinary showdown airing on the Food Network.

To celebrate, barleymash will host a viewing party of the episode on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m.

Chef Templeton was selected to appear on the Food Network show, “Beat Bobby Flay” to flaunt his culinary skills against the celebrity chef. Templeton is widely recognized for his talent in bourbon and beer-flavored recipes, found throughout the menu at barleymash.

Guests to the viewing party can act like one of the judges as Chef Templeton prepares the dishes that he attempted on the show. This multi-sensory experience allows attendee to not only watch all the action on the big screen, but taste it, too.
