San Diego Bacon Fest is back this weekend
Go hog wild and celebrate International Bacon Day with other lovers of the delectable meat candy during the 4th annual San Diego Bacon Fest.
More than 20 area vendors will bring their “A” game (or is it “B”game?), with unlimited bite-sized morsels that highlight the key ingredient: bacon. What’s even better (as if bacon wasn’t reason enough), this event doubles as a beer festival with more than 30 breweries serving up cold brews.
VIP tickets will score you an hour head start, a Brew Caddy to hold your beer glass, exclusive beer samples and a jar of bacon fat to take home from S&M Sausage & Meat.
2 p.m. (1 p.m. for VIP) Saturday. Preble Field, 2600 Cushing Road, Liberty Station, Point Loma. $60 in advance, $65 at the door, $100 VIP. sdbaconfest.com
