San Diego 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

In remembrance of those who lost their lives in the tragedy of 9/11 - 15 years ago - the San Diego 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb invites locals to ascend 110 flights of stairs (the same number as in the twin towers) wearing the name of a fallen emergency responder whose life was lost. Firefighters, police officers, military personnel and civilians will join together either in teams or as individuals. The funds raised from the event will benefit FirefighterAid, a San Diego-based organization that provides assistance to firefighters and families in crisis
