Jump Start Your Heart 5k returns to Mission Bay Park

Prepare to run your heart out at the sixth annual Jump Start Your Heart 5K on Sunday, Feb. 19. All of the race’s proceeds benefit the Children’s Heart Foundation, an organization that focuses on bringing health, hope and happiness to children impacted by congenital heart defects.

The 5K will start at Mission Bay Park and guide runners through an enjoyable, relaxed course alongside the water. Registration kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with a 10 a.m. race start time.

Post-race, those who are 21-and-up can indulge at the beer garden after completing the quick run. Each race participant will take home their own finisher’s medal.
