Stomping up a good time in Julian

Kick off those shoes, roll up those pants legs and show up dressed as Lucille Ball or your favorite Italian character to celebrate the Julian Grape Stomp Festa. Adults and kids can climb into a barrel of grapes and squish away.

The celebration will also feature Italian music by Roman Holiday, a bocce ball court, a “Lucy Look-Alike” contest, food, shopping and local wineries offering samples of wine. New this year is a falconry demonstration with falconer Cisco Clibourne.

This interactive demonstration will include birds of prey and a discussion of the birds, pictures, handling a hawk or falcon while wearing a falconry glove, and a flight demonstration with one of the birds.
