With Comic-Con International badges going on sale Saturday, there’s no better time to check out The Marvel Experience.

At Del Mar Fairgrounds through February 22nd, the world’s first hyper-reality traveling installation makes every visitor feel as if they’re part of the Marvel family.

It’s super cool.

The ultimate fan experience, it includes a 4D motion ride, 3D stereoscopic theater, and over 20 Marvel-ous characters (including Iron Man, Hulk, and Spider-Man).

On Wednesday, February 18, 2015, The Marvel Experience welcomes Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes, better known as “Jay and Silent Bob”.

Billed as a ‘Celebrity and VIP Evening’, the event starts at 6 p.m.

Kevin Smith, actor, director, screenwriter of “Clerks,” “Mallrats,” and “Chasing Amy” among others, supplied the voice for the Super Villain character M.O.D.O.K. in The Marvel Experience.

“Ever since I was a wee butterball-looking comic book fan, I dreamed of going to a live event as amazing as The Marvel Experience,” said Kevin Smith. “This is like actually being INSIDE of a giant comic book come to life! And the best part is that The Marvel Experience gives the audience a massive team-up of Marvel’s biggest characters and we get to see them on a Dome! Spider-Man, Wolverine and the Avengers, all fighting side-by-side against Red Skull! This is a must-see event for any casual or committed comic book fan, and no self-respecting M.O.D.O.K.-lover should miss his big, big BIG debut!”
