Learn from the pro: Holiday cookie making class at Café 21
Give the gift of perfectly made baked goods this holiday season. Café 21’s chef/owner, Leyla Javadov, can help elevate baking skills during her gourmet holiday cookie baking class on Wednesday, Dec. 20.
Javadov will teach guests how to make traditional and specialty holiday cookies inclduing some based on recipes from her hometown of Azerbaijan. The class will include baking chocolate chip cookies, Palmier cookies, Asian Moon Cookies and Javadov’s family recipe, Heart Cookies.
Café 21, which has locations in downtown San Diego and in Normal Heights, is known for using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. Earlier this year, Javadov even released a full list of organic cocktails.
For $75, guests of the holiday baking class will receive a complimentary dinner including appetizers and a salad, as well as sangria. Guests will also take home a basket of cookies including recipes from the class.
