Best places to spot a celeb during Comic-Con
We are about to be in the crosshairs of some major celebrity spotting during Comic-Con 2016. If you don’t have a ticket to the epic event, no worries! There are plenty of hot spots around downtown San Diego ideal for rubbing shoulders with your favorite movie and television stars once they exit the Con.
Hard Rock Hotel
This happening hotel is a great spot to stop by if you’re hoping to catch a starlet. Various celebrities will be staying at the hotel and popping in and out for parties, so we’d recommend stopping through if you’d like a dose of stardom in your life.

OMNIA San Diego
This popular nightclub is the one we predict that most stars will flock to. There will be a special Comic-Con after party on Thursday, July 21 (with Hodor from “Game of Thrones” DJ-ing) that is sure to be a massive celebration for locals, tourists and of course, big celebs.

Rustic Root
Looking for a yummy dinner and specialty craft cocktails, while still being a part of the Comic-Con celebrity madness? Apparently, Rustic Root is a hot-spot for those hanging in San Diego. Point in case? Bill Murray was just spotted there last weekend, so you know it must be a star-worthy restaurant.

The US GRANT Hotel
As the original home of Comic-Con in 1970, the US GRANT Hotel still maintains some celeb cred. Star sightings over the years include Connor Cruise, Tim Burton, Dexter’s Michael C. Hall, Elijah Wood, Mr. William H Macy and Don Cheadle, to name a few.
