San Diego audiences to catch a bit of the Jerry Seinfeld comedic sensibility on Friday
Possibly best known for playing himself in his long-running sitcom “about nothing,” Jerry Seinfeld amused television audiences from 1989 to 1998 with the absurdities of everyday life, and that’s not nothing. Since then, the funnyman has accumulated nearly 20 years of marriage and parenting experience — two gifts to comedy (“serenity now!”). Seinfeld’s current stand-up tour includes a one-night only, two-performance engagement at the San Diego Civic Theatre on Friday.
Jerry Seinfeld: 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday, May 10. San Diego Civic Theatre, 1100 Third Ave., San Diego. $70 and up. (619) 570-1100. sandiegotheatres.org
