The South Bay Pride Art & Musical Festival returns to Chula Vista with live entertainment, local art, food, drinks and activities for kids in celebration and support of the LGBT communities in southern San Diego County and northern Baja California. More than a party, it’s also a form of educational outreach for the non-profit South Bay Alliance to create a resource center in the area for LGBT youth and aging members of the community from both sides of the border to find support and safety. Spend the day checking out the live music, DJs, dancing, artists and exhibits, food, beer and wine garden, and activities for kids. There will also be a chance for kayaking, paddle boarding, and jet skiing, plus bungee jumping and inflatable toys for kids.

South Bay Pride Art & Music Festival: Noon to 8 p.m. Saturday. Bayside Park, 999 Bayside Parkway, Chula Vista. Free.
