North Park gets ready for 22nd annual SDCCU Festival of Arts

SDCCU Festival of Arts in North Park will feature art, music, food and craft beer.

North Park will roll out the red carpet Saturday for its annual block party known as SDCCU Festival of Arts.

Now in its 22nd year, the event will feature everything from art and music to food and craft beer.

Organizers are expecting more than 40,000 people to the free event, which kicks off at 11 a.m.

Four stages will feature live music from such acts as The Heavy Guilt, Sure Fire Soul Ensemble, Taken by Canadians, Spooky Cigarette and Finnegan Blue, among others.

New this year is a chef and brewer pairing event, which will be held in two sessions (noon to 4 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m.) for $30 each (plus a $3.72 fee). For more information, go to the website for details.
