Circle Circle dot dot has always been about new theatrical adventures, but each February the grassroots troupe rekindles its romance with an old flame - San Diego.

This year’s version of the company’s annual mobile, site-specific show is titled “San Diego, I Love You (The Musical),” and it’s a roving romantic comedy that takes attendees on a tour through the Arts District Liberty Station.

Soroya Rowley and Andrew Steele both wrote and directed the show, which features Steele along with Ciarlene Coleman, Tony Houck, Juan Hernandez, Wrekless Watson, Michael Parrott, Taylor Wycoff, Caitlin Ross Kristin McReddie and company artistic director Katherine Harroff.

The piece, based on real-life stories and themed to the district’s educational opportunities, also features live music - a first for the “SDILY” series. (Word to the wise: Comfortable shoes are recommended.)
