Kensington Palace has confirmed that Meghan Markle’s father, Tom Markle, will be walking her down the aisle, putting an end to the “will he or won’t he” speculation.

He is expected to leave his modest home in a gated Rosarito beach community and fly to England a few days before the May 19 nuptials to meet Prince Harry and other members of the royal family.

On the wedding day, the former “Suits” actress will be accompanied by her mother Doria Ragland, a Los Angeles social worker and yoga instructor, to the Windsor Castle chapel, where she will join her dad, a retired TV show lighting director. The couple divorced when Meghan was 6 but are said to have remained on friendly terms.

Reportedly not invited is Meghan’s older half brother, Tom Markle Jr., who has made unflattering remarks about his half sister and warned Prince Harry not to marry her.

Meanwhile, London’s “Mirror” has published photos of Meghan’s father, 73, jogging near his home with dumbbells and working out on a stationary bicycle, apparently to get in shape for the royal occasion.
