Just for Laughs

San Diego native Bobby Lee got his start in stand-up at the Comedy Store in La Jolla. In 1995, he was comedian Pauly Shore’s opening act in Las Vegas, later becoming a regular on MADtv and landing roles in hit films including Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and Pineapple Express.

From March 1 to 4, Lee is headlining grand opening shows at the new American Comedy Co. on 6th Avenue in the Gaslamp.

“It’s the only ‘A’ room in San Diego,” says owner Justin Hollister. “Our line-up is the best in the business.”

And that’s no joke-also on the calendar are Christopher Titus (March 9 to 11), the star, executive producer and co-creator of FOX’s sitcom Titus; Tom Arnold (March 22 to 24); and Harland Williams (May 10 to 13), who’s best know as the cop who drank urine from a beer bottle in Dumb and Dumber.
