A traditional Namaste bow is in order for youngsters in the Encinitas Union School District, where yoga has been integrated into Health and Wellness programs for students. Following a lawsuit filed by a neighborhood family claiming the practice of yoga violates the separation of church and state, a judge made the final decision.

“We are pleased that the Court ruled in our favor and look forward to continuing to offer a comprehensive Health and Wellness Program with yoga as one of its components,” says Encinitas Union School District superintendent Timothy Baird.

So show us your mountain pose, munchkins. And clean up after that damn downward dog!
