Find a treasure at the San Diego Vintage Flea Market

Share

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. North Park Observatory (formerly the North Park Theatre), 2891 University Ave., San Diego. Free admission. sdvintagefleamarket.com

If you’re a vintage connoisseur or a beginning collector, then make plans to attend the third annual San Diego Vintage Flea Market. You’ll find fashion, furniture, records, home goods and accessories - from turn of the century to midcentury modern to the ‘70s (hot pants and bell-bottom trousers, anyone?) - as well as tiki-infused items for the retrophiles. Spanglish Eats will be dropping its tent again this year, serving Latin-inspired empanadas and other tasty morsels. Lionel’s Legacy Senior Dog Rescue will be there, too. Donations of senior dog food, dog toys, new and gently used blankets and dog beds will be accepted. Well-trained dogs on leashes are welcome.
