Let’s get artsy: Culture & Cocktails is back

Share

The wildly popular party that combines art and delicious drinks is back! Culture & Cocktails, the after-dark event at the San Diego Museum of Art, returns for another installment from 6 to 10 p.m. on Feb. 16.

The theme of the Thursday event, Persian Nights, will offer attendees a look at ancient Persia (modern-day Iran) through some fresh art installments. Stroll through the “Arts of Iran” and “Arts of South and Southeast Asia” exhibits, while enjoying fresh cocktails throughout the beautiful museum. One of the themed cocktail options will be the “Darius the Great” (named after the third king of the Persian Achaemenid Empire) cocktail, handcrafted by Papa’s Pilar distillery.

Bites will be provided by Popchips, Country Archer and Luna Grill - so you can munch while grooving to live music all night long. Don’t forget to stop by the Radiant Human photo experience, which captures a photographic interpretation of your aura, as a unique take-home part of the evening. You can also purchase a blank t-shirt that will be made into a masterpiece courtesy of SnipTease Clothing artists, who will create custom art designs on-site.

Tickets are $5 for members, $25 for nonmembers. If the event does not sell out beforehand, tickets will be sold for $35 at the door. This event is 21+ only.
