Resort-style living with an Italian flair

Living in La Jolla doesn’t get much better than The Villas of Renaissance. Sitting just north of University City and an easy drive (or bike ride) to UCSD, the community is full of inviting features and amenities for residents.

The Villas of Renaissance were designed for resort-style living with an elegant Italian flair - the clubhouse, called The Forum, was inspired by Florence’s Duomo Cathedral. Four beautiful pools, all with spas and sundecks, are spread throughout the community, which features dramatic landscaping, meandering walking paths, courtyards and fountains.

Residents enjoy access to fitness facilities that include an aerobics studio, cardiovascular room and a strength-training gym. After working up a sweat, visit the clubroom (its demonstration kitchen is used for monthly cooking classes), watch a movie in the surround-sound theater with stadium seating or hang out with friends and neighbors in the game room. Enjoy San Diego’s perfect weather with a cookout at one of the pool areas - they all have grills and fire pits.

But what about the homes themselves? The Villas of Renaissance boast 13 spacious floorplans, ranging from studios to three-bedroom homes. All floor plans include patios or balconies, and some have dens or loft space as well. The kitchens have designer cabinetry, granite counters and hardwood-style flooring. Select homes feature vaulted ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces, roman-style oval tubs in master bathrooms and large walk-in closets. All homes have crown molding and in-home washers and dryers. Plus, parking is a breeze with subterranean gate-controlled garages with elevator access to all floors.

The Villas of Renaissance staff is dedicated to providing impeccable service to every resident, and that includes a full social calendar with events geared at both adults and children, including monthly cooking classes, three movie nights each week (Thursdays are specifically for kids movies) and food trucks every Wednesday. The community also offers signature seasonal events like Cinema Under the Stars, a Chillin’ and Grillin’ BBQ and a Pumpkin Patch for Halloween.

And thanks to the community’s location, residents are close to hiking trails, golf courses, shopping, restaurants and of course, San Diego’s stunning beaches. Learn more and schedule a tour at
