This season, Sammy’s is using the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients on some new pizza creations designed to showcase the tastes of fall. The Sausage, Smoked Gouda & Cranberry, with mozzarella cheese, Italian sausage and grilled scallions pairs tart with smoky. The Pesto, Mushroom & Raclette has lots of gooey, melted cheese with roasted crimini and shiitake mushrooms, plus roasted garlic for an extra rich flavor. Finally, the Fingerling Potato, Feta & Olive, with mozzarella, tomato, rosemary and garlic lets classic flavors shine.
The best part? Each fall-inspired pizza is only $10! They go well with the rest of Sammy’s menu, which includes signature wood-fired pizzas and artisan thin crust pizzas, salads, pasta and shareable tapas.
Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza & Grill owner Sami Ladeki was the first to bring woodfired pizza to San Diego, back in 1989. Now, Sammy’s is found throughout San Diego County and has locations elsewhere in Southern California, Sacramento and Nevada. Aside from the seasonal creations, Sammy’s signature pizzas include LaDou’s BBQ Chicken, Organic Arugula & Pear, Margherita and more.
