Kick off your summer weekends in style with San Diego Symphony’s Flamingo Fridays at Bayside Summer Nights! Before all of the Friday concerts for this year’s Bayside Summer Nights, flock to the Embarcadero for happy hour and drink specials, flamingo-themed giveaways and live music on the lawn before the mainstage concert. Flamingo Fridays’ happy hours will last from 6 to 7 p.m.
This year’s Bayside Summer Nights lineup offers something for everybody, kicking off June 29 with Star Spangled Pops, the symphony’s traditional salute to America. Enjoy patriotic hits and rousing selections from movies and Broadway, followed by fireworks.

July 6 - Megan Hilty
Broadway performer and TV actress Megan Hilty brings her acclaimed voice and versatility to Bayside.
July 13 - Rick Springfield
Rick Springfield’s anthems from the 80s, including “Jessie’s Girl,” “I’ve Done Everything for You,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers” and more, live on under Bayside’s concert lights.
July 27 - Marc Cohn featuring special guests The Blind Boys of Alabama
Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Marc Cohn makes his Bayside debut with gospel music legends The Blind Boys of Alabama.
August 3 - Burt Bacharach
Returning once again to Bayside Summer Nights, the renowned Burt Bacharach will perform from his amazing treasure trove of pop hits with company singers and the orchestra.
August 10 - West Side Story - The Film in Concert
Celebrate the 57th anniversary of the iconic film as the Symphony performs Leonard Bernstein’s beloved score live with the remastered film.
August 17 - Gershwin on Broadway featuring An American in Paris and Porgy and Bess
The Embarcadero will come alive with Broadway stars performing George and Ira Gershwin’s well-loved songs, focusing in the recent revivals of An American in Paris and Porgy and Bess.
August 24 - The Temptations + The Four Tops
Two of the greatest acts in Motown come together for Bayside Summer Nights! Original members of both groups, including Abdul “Duke” Fakir of the Four Tops and Otis Williams of The Temptations will lead this nostalgic trip through pop classics.
August 31 - 1812 Tchaikovsky Spectacular
Wrap up the summer with the Symphony’s popular Tchaikovsky concert, led by Associate Conductor Sameer Patel and a with a grand finale of booming cannons and an incredible fireworks display over the Bay.
