Located in Linda Vista near Mesa College, the family-owned shop is known for its amazing (and cheap) Bahn Mi sandwiches. According to the San Diego Fire Rescue Department, K's went up in flames around 9 p.m. due to a malfunctioning stove. It took firefighters roughly an hour to extinguish the blaze. With an estimated $1.5 million in damages, the family hopes to rebuild the restaurant and reopen one day. In the meantime, I'm thinking of starting a GoFundMe. Source: DiscoverSD
