Rancho La Puerta Debuts The Brunch Wine Bazar

Rancho La Puerta, the leading fitness and spa retreat in Tecate, Mexico near San Diego, has launched its new Brunch Wine Bazar from The Baja Kitchen, a series of culinary demonstrations, delicious tastings, and events showcasing Baja California and San Diego. One Sunday a month, beginning on June 26, Rancho La Puerta will welcome culinary enthusiasts and wine aficionados to the property’s cooking school, La Cocina Que Canta (“The Kitchen That Sings”), and six-acre organic farm for a unique, destination inspired Sunday brunch experience.
Guests will enjoy a day full of traditional Baja Med cuisine with a gourmet farm brunch and Valle de Guadalupe wine pairings. In the beauty of the organic farm and La Cocina Que Canta, guests can browse the finely curated pop-up bazar and browse authentic local Mexican craft. Roundtrip transportation from San Diego is offered.
The one-day trip includes the below activities:
9:30 a.m. - Depart from East Mission Bay in San Diego.
11 a.m. - Warm welcome from Executive Chef Denise Roa at La Cocina Que Canta, with hors d’oeuvres paired with wine tastings overlooking Mount Kuchumaa.
Noon - Gourmet Baja Med brunch buffet.
1 p.m. - Garden tours and Baja Bazar: time to relax, tour the organic garden, enjoy summer games including cornhole and horseshoe as well as explore the pop-up bazar.
3 p.m. - Depart from La Cocina Que Canta.
4:30 p.m. - Arrival at East Mission Bay in San Diego.
Tickets are $180.34 USD per person and can be purchased here, for the following Sundays: June 26, July 31, August 14, September 18, November 13, and December 4.
