Pug it out at the 24th annual Pug Party

Share

It’s all about the pug, and this pugnaciously precious pup will be celebrated at Pug Rescue of San Diego’s annual pug pawty. More than 500 pugs and their two-legged companions are expected to participate in the canine confab.

This year’s theme is “Vegas Pugs,” so expect to see creative costumes - showgirls, Sinatra, maybe Elvis? Pug-tastic events include a costume contest, wet T-shirt contest (dogs only, please), a cupcake chomp (with dog-friendly ingredients) and a pug boutique.

Got a pug with issues? There will be an “ask the vet” booth. Proceeds benefit Pug Rescue’s effort.
