Revenge may be a dish best served cold, but success is served, well, right here in Little Italy.

Italian restaurant Davanti Enoteca, which celebrated its one-year anniversary last month, was recently named on of the Top 50 Best New Restaurants in 2012 by Bon Appétit. It’s one of only five restaurants in California and the only one in San Diego to have been bestowed the honor.

“It’s a game-changer for us and the Little Italy neighborhood,” says the restaurant’s owner, Scott Harris. “Our phone hasn’t stop ringing off the hook since the announcement was made!”

Harris attributes the award to his friendly and experienced staff, top ingredients and the Little Italy Association caring so much about the neighborhood.
