MarketWatch, a financial information website, just released an info-map documenting the salaries needed to afford a median-priced home in 25 U.S. cities.

While the average person needs to make just over $51,000 a year to afford a home in middle-America, that number is doubled in San Diego.

Not really shocking, but buyers in S.D. need to make $103,165 to carry a home - higher than Los Angeles and New York.

The ONLY city in the country where you need to make more? San Francisco.
