Listed for a whopping $92 million, Del Dios Ranch includes an 8,500-square-foot four-bedroom main house, one-bedroom guesthouse, tennis court, barn, driving range and lemon grove.
Yes, a lemon grove. When life gives you lemons, imagine saying they came from your own lemon grove!
Oh, almost forgot. The gated estate also includes a 3,000-square-foot pavilion equipped with an indoor swimming pool, hot tub and full-service bar.
Built in 1972, Del Dios Ranch was the home of Roland Sahm, founder of Elixir Industries, a manufacturing giant.
The listing agent, Linda Sansone of Willis Allen Real Estate, told WSJ that Sahm’s son is selling the estate and hopes the buyer won’t develop on the property.
To date, the current home-sale record - set in 2007 - is $35 million for a beachfront home in Del Mar.
