THE LOT opens second location this week

THE LOT, which has been entertaining in La Jolla for the past seven months, is now opening a second location in Liberty Station this Thursday, May 5.

The luxury movie theater and restaurant continues the trend of dine-and-watch theaters now popular in San Diego, changing the way we consume films. THE LOT Liberty Station will include high-quality dining, luxury leather recliners, a full bar with cocktails, and breakfast, lunch, dinner and in-theater dining available.

THE LOT Liberty Station features a completely glass-enclosed café, bar and restaurant space, with menus created by Chef Matt Sramek. For breakfast, patrons can try the open-face sandwich with prosciutto and arugula. For lunch and dinner, movie-goers can stop first for oven-baked flatbreads and European-influenced entrees.

The venue is set to open with a lineup of box-office hit movies, kicking off with the launch of “Marvel Comics’ Captain America: Civil War. “
