Suspect arrested in Kyle Kraska shooting

KFMB-TV (channel 8) Sports Director Kyle Kraska was shot and wounded outside of his home Tuesday afternoon and hours later, the suspect surrendered to police.

Police say 54-year-old Mike Montana surrendered to police shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday after a SWAT team surrounded a residence in El Cajon.

Police have not said what relationship the two men have, saying only that the suspect left Kraska’s home in a van with a painting company logo on it.

Thankfully, Kraska is out of surgery and is expected to recover after he was wounded in the leg and the left side of his stomach.
