Sip brews to help end breast cancer
Drink beer to benefit breast cancer? Hell yes. The seventh annual Brewbies Festival will kick off on Saturday, Feb. 13 at Bagby Beer Company from 1 to 5 p.m. There will be more than 40 local and regional breweries in attendance at this year’s event.
All of the event proceeds will benefit The Keep A Breast Foundation, which has raised over $175,000 through the Brewbies Festival since it’s induction in 2010. The festival will feature handcrafted beers of all kinds, and most breweries will be offering specialty pink beers to show their support.
Some of the participating breweries include Bagby Brewing Co., Alpine Beer Company, Sierra Nevada Brewing, Noble Ale Works, Mother Earth Brew Co., Avery Brewing Co., Rip Current Brewing, Pizza Port Brewing Co., Culture Brewing Co., Societe Brewing Company.
Join in on the fun and participate in the silent auction or live raffle to raise even more funds. Raffle tickets are $1 each.
General admission tickets are $45 in advance. Planned ahead admission tickets offer attendees a custom Brewbies glass, an I Love Boobies bracelet, a $10 food voucher and unlimited two-ounce beer tasters. Tickets can be purchased day-of-event at the door for $60.
Baller Status VIP tickets are $75 and include all the planned ahead ticket offerings, plus a custom tote bag filled with Keep A Breast Foundation swag and all-day access to a VIP Lounge with food and beer provided by Brother’s Provisions.
