The owner of this shop has built surfboards since he was a teenager. The shop is a beautiful collection of high-end surfboards and top-notch clothing and wet suits and shares a wall with a great coffee shop. Check them out!

Mission Surf
This shop is small but packed to the gills with merchandise and located right in the heart of Pacific Beach. They also have a couple containers outside with lots of great off price clothing and surfboard rentals and everything you need for a day at the beach.

Surf Hut
South County has exactly one surf shop that I would recommend and that the Surf Hut in Imperial Beach. This shop has served this community since the 80s and always has the best selection of surfboards, body boards and wet suits.

This funky shop is a bit light on many things you can find in other surf shops but they have more surfboards than any other store in the city.
