The 26 local designers set to showcase their work have been announced for this year’s Fashion Week San Diego 2016. The stylish four-day affair will take place from Sept. 29 through Oct. 2 in La Jolla.
Winners from last year’s competition will return, alongside new women and menswear designers. This year, there will even be a dog apparel brand - a first for Fashion Week.
The runway show and competitions serves as a springboard for up-and-coming designers. You can read more about last year’s winning women here.
On Thursday, Sept. 29, guests can discover the Art & Beauty Behind Fashion at Shane Bowden Gallery in La Jolla. On Friday, Sept. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 1, the runways shows will take over Hotel La Jolla, and on Sunday, Oct. 2, the festivities will close out with a trunk show at La Valencia Hotel. This final day provides attendees with an opportunity to shop the runway and get to know the designers up close.
