Eat good food, give back to charity


Who doesn’t enjoy having a tasty meal at one of the hundreds of awesome restaurants we have here in San Diego? Today, make plans to dine out at one of your favorite spots and help to raise money for AIDS organizations all in one. Yep, simply by eating out on April 28 at select restaurants, you can help benefit Dining Out For Life, a national dining fundraiser that donates to AIDS service organizations.

The nationwide event will be take place at restaurants in more than 20 different cities including Phoenix, Portland, Fort Collins, El Paso, Baton Rouge, Anchorage and many more.

The San Diego sector has more than 60 different participating eateries, each donating anywhere from 25 to 50 percent of proceeds from the event. Some of this year’s restaurants include: Waypoint Public, Blind Lady Ale House, Hammond’s Gourmet Ice Cream, Carnitas Snack Shack, Juice Crafters, The Mission, Luna Grill, Tiger! Tiger! and Great Maple to list a few.
