Eat. Drink. Read. returns to Liberty Station
The annual Eat. Drink. Read. event will return to Liberty Station on Wednesday, May 18 for a culinary fest of food and drinks, benefiting the San Diego Council on Literacy and the El Cajon Adult Learning Center.
Event-goers can sample decadent foods from local vendors and restaurants like Big Front Door, Eclipse Chocolate, Waypoint Public, Searsucker, Herb & Wood, Grant Grill, Cusp Dining & Drinks. There will be more than 25 chefs in attendance from San Diego creating handmade dishes, based upon their favorite books.
All dishes will be paired with craft brews, wines and cocktails. Attendees are encouraged to bring a new or gently used children’s book for the newly added book drive this year. Each book you bring will earn you a raffle ticket to win a variety of prizes.
Tickets are $95 and can be purchased at literacysandiego.org
