Celebrate Festa Della Donna at CUCINA enoteca Del Mar

Celebrate International Women’s Day, known as Festa Della Donna in Italy, with a special Italian dinner party at CUCINA enoteca Del Mar on Tuesday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m.

The four-course charity wine dinner will unite local female chefs together to prepare a delicious dinner paired perfectly with world class vino, made by all-female winemakers. Participating chefs include Gina Freize of Venissimo Cheese, Katie Grebow formerly of Cafe Chloe, Karrie Hills of The Red Door, Donna Antaloczy of Ironisde Fish & Oyster, Rosa Geremia of CUCINA enoteca Del Mar and sommelier Lisa Redwine, formerly of La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club.

The dinner will be Italian themed, given CUCINA’s Italian influence, and filled with female empowerment. Guests are asked to wear yellow, as women will be greeted with yellow flowers as per Italian tradition.

All proceeds from the special dining experience will be donated to Center for Community Solutions, a local nonprofit organization that provides emergency domestic violence shelters and life-saving resources for those in need.
