Everyone’s favorite troupe of blue-hued dudes (not that there are so many to choose from) is back in town to perform its unique strain of cerulean shenanigans.

And this time around, Blue Man Group brings a brand-new show: “Speechless,” the latest in the crew’s 27-year history of putting up stage spectacles that can be pretty bananas. (If bananas were, in fact, blue.)

This one promises to draw on “joy, art, music, comedy, social commentary, and hilarious absurdity,” which just about covers the rainbow of human experience.

“Speechless” has only five performances at the Civic Theatre, starting today, before the cueball-coiffed trio disappears back into the blue it came out of.
