Christina Veta serves as director of programming for The Times’ Emmy Award-winning daily cable news show “L.A. Times Today.” She previously guided The Times’ audience engagement and digital strategy as an assistant editor with the entertainment and arts team.
Rachel Schnalzer is an audience engagement editor for the Los Angeles Times. In addition to overseeing daily news engagement for the Business and World Nation sections, she manages promotion for projects such as Global California, Repowering the West and the Great SoCal House Hunt. Schnalzer has also served as the lead writer for the Times’ travel newsletter, Escapes, and Business newsletter. She enjoys answering pressing questions from readers, such as “Why is L.A.’s iconic skyline far from the beach?” and “What’s the deal with Burbank’s gigantic castles?” Schnalzer graduated from Johns Hopkins University and worked at BuzzFeed and Snap before joining The Times in 2019.
