Make your own pizza at Buona Forchetta
Italian restaurant in Liberty Station offers wine and goodies with its three pizza classes.
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and roll out your dough. On Tuesday, Sept. 17 Officine Buona Forchetta in Liberty Station offers customers its first pizza-making lesson of the season.
The class, which takes place from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., gives guests a chance to make and bake their own pizza. After learning the history of the dish and the ingredients needed for the “Neapolitan style” creation, spread the dough, choose desired toppings, and (carefully) throw your masterpiece into the wood fired oven. While your pizza cooks, enjoy Italian wine and Venissimo cheese pairings.
Two additional classes will be held on Oct. 29 and Nov. 19, with the latter date boasting a gluten-free recipe. Tickets are $95 online and include all pizza ingredients, wine and cheese pairings, a ball of dough to-go, and a t-shirt.
