Love it? Hate it? Chipotle wants to know what we think of its new Queso Blanco

Share

Chipotle Mexican Grill has kicked up its cheese game with its Queso Blanco, made with Monterey Jack cheese, white cheddar cheese and serrano, poblano and chipotle peppers. Chipotle is testing the cheese — available for a limited time — using its new “stage-gate process,” where the company tests, learns, listens to customer feedback and iterates broadly before deciding on a national launch. The queso is smooth in texture with a bold cheese flavor, mild spicy heat and smoky finish. “We are proud to have created a delicious recipe for Queso Blanco that uses only high-quality, real ingredients that you can pronounce and find in your own kitchens at home,” said chef Nevielle Panthaky, Chipotle’s vice president of culinary. Participating 17 locations: San Diego (14), La Jolla , Del Mar and Poway. chipotle.com
