Savor ‘Finest City Eats’ at Bayside Summer Nights

To pair with this year’s concert roundup, the long-running Bayside Summer Nights presents another lineup: offerings from local dining establishments.

Bayside Summer Nights, the annual outdoor music series at Embarcadero Marina Park South from San Diego Symphony, showcases various musicians throughout the warmer months. For the 2019 performances, its new food collaboration — “Finest City Eats” — highlights some of the best culinary spots of America’s Finest City.

Ranging from pastries to Mexican cuisine, food options will be available from five San Diego eateries: Biga San Diego, Lola 55, Cravory Cookies, Bread and Cie, and Achilles Coffee Roasters. Specific menu items have not yet been released, but the new food pavilion will be located behind the Grandstand.

In addition to the food pavilion, a craft beer station will pour a large selection of San Diego suds. Local breweries on tap will include Stone Brewing, Saint Archer, Ballast Point, Pizza Port, Coronado Brewing Company, Karl Strauss, Modern Times, Mikkeller, Alpine Beer Company and Boochcraft.

Plus, the concert series is partnering with famous chef and TV personality Richard Blais to provide Champagne Section ticket holders three-course menus (Blais by the Bay), as well as picnic meals (Blais Boxes) for all concertgoers. The TV personality, who previously won Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars, is also a consultant and partner in San Diego eateries like The Crack Shack and Juniper & Ivy.
