Take a bite out of San Diego’s tastiest neighborhood at the Taste of Little Italy

No need to ask the Union-Tribune what some of our all-time favorite places to eat are — a number of them will be participating in Wednesday’s 11th annual Taste of Little Italy.

Nearly four dozen restaurants, dessert shops and cafes will be on either the Taste’s north or south route, offering everything from pasta to pizza, seafood to sweets, beer to wine and cocktails and other beverages.

Pick a plan, grab your Taste Passport and head toward these standouts: Juniper & Ivy, The Crack Shack, Herb & Wood, Born & Raised, Bobboi Natural Gelato, Ambrogio15, Isola Pizza Bar, Mona Lisa Italian Foods, Barbusa and Frost Me Cafe & Bakery.

And yes, that reads like one of our “Best Of” lists.
