Sip Into Summer with Tower23 wine series

Tower23 Hotel brings back its annual Sip Into Summer Wine Series on June 26 to Pacific Beach. The weekly events will be held Wednesdays through Sept. 4 at JRDN, Tower23’s restaurant.

Guests can enjoy five to six wine tastings, with the opportunity to chat with wine professionals representing various vineyards throughout the evening. The series highlights West Coast wines from Napa Valley, Santa Barbara, Sonoma Coast and Baja California, as well as European offerings from Italian and French vineyards.

Featured guests include Robert Keenan Winery (July 10), Scarpetta Winery (July 17), Vinisterra Winery (July 24), Peay Vinyards (Aug. 14) and Neyers Winery (Aug. 21), among others.

To kick off Sip Into Summer, Joanna Gerolaga will play live music at the first tasting on June 26. Then on July 3, wine lovers can celebrate Independence Day early with a themed event: Reds, Whites and Rosé. Another musician (TBA) will conclude the summer series with a Sept. 4 concert.

Tickets are $30 online, with group discount rates available.
