The Vista Strawberry Festival will be filled with history and summer sweetness May 26.

Join the celebration of the city’s history with a day filled with live entertainment on multiple stages, a wine garden and local beer, carnival rides, hundreds of vendors, and plenty of food. Oh, and contests with prizes for best strawberry costume, strawberry jam, a pie-eating contest, and more.
Vista Strawberry Festival: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. In the area of Main Street and North Indiana Avenue/Hanes Place in Vista. (760) 726-1122. vistastrawberryfest.com
